It has long been known that in any business the most difficult thing is to start. With an independent acquaintance with yoga, it is not clear with which asanas to begin the development of practice, how to perform poses and in what order.
In addition, while we still do not have a developed habit of exercises, it can be difficult to mobilize and, instead of practicing yoga, we spend time watching videos with video lessons and reading useful books about yoga.
However, no wisdom will make our body flexible and healthy – only exercises can help. It is worthwhile to pull yourself together and do it. Two or three classes per week is decidedly small; yoga should be practiced daily.
Can one do yoga?
Not only possible, but necessary. Every day, when we are not training, our muscles contract. 15 minutes of daily exercise will have a cumulative effect – instead of losing flexibility, you will move forward a little daily. Over time, you will feel that it is easier to perform asanas every time, and after some time yoga will become a habit, and you will even miss exercises on some spontaneous day without training.
How much time should I devote to yoga?
The bigger, the better. There are people who practice yoga all day … But you yourself must decide how much time you want to devote to yoga, and then confidently implement your plan. When plotting, it’s useful to keep a few things in mind:
set yourself real time – if you decide to train for 5 hours daily, then you probably will quickly give up – remember that it is best to practice daily – better than one hour every day than 2 hours every two days – approach this as a pleasure . Yoga should not limit you, on the contrary, remember that you make your body a nice gift – at first you can do yoga for a short time, gradually increasing it – the most suitable lengths of time for yoga – 15 minutes, 30 minutes, 45 minutes, 1 hour or 1 5 hours.
