FEATURES OF YOGA FOR CHILDREN

Children’s yoga classes, like adults, consist of a number of stages. This is self-massage, getting to know parts of your body, awareness of how it works, stretching, sipping gymnastics. The next component is hatha yoga for children, articular – muscle and eye gymnastics.

During classes, the child learns the basic asanas (poses) for children. Young children learn yoga asanas much easier than adults, because their young bodies are still very flexible, and their consciousness is not clouded. Classical asanas should be practiced from the age of fourteen, but an adapted, lightweight version of yoga poses, more reminiscent of fun gymnastics, can be performed starting from five years old, six years old. Not all asanas are simple to perform and this is a plus, as they help the child develop willpower, sensitivity and learn a lot about himself.
