Poses in Hatha Yoga are called asanas. These body positions, fixed for some time, contribute to the development of joint mobility, muscle extensibility and the removal of hypertonicity, increase the elasticity of ligaments. With the help of asanas, due to compression and extension, increase and decrease in intracavitary pressure, massage of internal organs is carried out, the activity of the cardiovascular, autonomic-endocrine systems and respiration is stimulated. With the practice of asanas, all types of sensitivity increase and aggravate, conscious control over the correct position of the body develops, and defective models of muscle behavior are eliminated .
